 Much new information about employee ownership in June 2006, with 709 articles in our press review (on which 209 about workers' co-operatives).
We made a selection of 39 articles in 12 countries:
Austria: employee share ownership could be a way to boost Austrian stock exchange.
Botswana: employee share ownership will take a place in Air Botswana's privatisation.
Canada: Ski Press is an employee-owned company which restructures.
France was the hottest place regarding employee ownership in June. The new legislation was discussed in the Council of Ministers and it could be voted by the Parliament in autumn. The annual survey about employee savings enlightens the  progress of employee share ownership. Employee ownership had to face complex situations in some big companies: Arcelor/Mittal, Eiffage, Libération. Finally, at the same time as a new stock options scandal appears in the USA, similar scandals about stock options and executives compensation appeared in France (Vinci, Havas, EADS).
Germany: two good articles about Angela Merkel's plans to promote employee share ownership.
Ireland:  Eircom issue goes now to its conclusion. Eircom's Employee Share Ownership Trust seems to emerge as the winner, employee ownership raising from 21.5% to 35%. Aer Lingus: privatisation could bring wider place for employee ownership.
Jamaica: a survey of employee share ownership in listed companies in Jamaica.
Japan: a survey of workers' coops and employee ownership in Japan.
South Africa: trade unions ask for more employee share ownership within black empowerment programmes.
South Korea: employee owners submit a bid for Daewoo
United Kingdom: SAYE – the most popular employee share scheme is in danger. Pertemps' famous family business goes to an employee share ownership model, while employee share ownership seems difficult for Royal Mail.
USA: some examples of employee ownership in companies (Aluminum Specialties, VGM, Hot Dog on a Stick, Creation Technologies, Asemtec). On the other hand, new scandals appear about stock options. Finally, Vermont State has a new legislation favouring employee-owned companies.

  Beaucoup d'informations touchant l'actionnariat salarié dans la presse en juin 2006, avec 709 articles (dont 209 à propos de coopératives de travailleurs actionnaires). Notre sélection compte 39 articles dans 12 pays:
Autriche: l'actionnariat salarié comme moyen pour augmenter le volume du marché financier autrichien.
Botswana: une place pour l'actionnariat salarié dans la privatisation d'Air Botswana.
Canada: Ski Press est une entreprise d'actionnariat salarié en restructuration.
France: le pays numéro 1 pour l'actionnariat salarié au mois de juin (189 articles). Le projet de nouvelle législation a été discuté en Conseil des Ministres et il pourrait être voté par l'Assemblée Nationale en automne. Le baromètre annuel de l'épargne d'entreprise met en lumière la progression de l'actionnariat salarié. L'actionnariat salarié a fait face à des situations difficiles dans plusieurs grandes entreprises: Arcelor/Mittal, Eiffage, Libération. Enfin ,dans le même temps où un nouveau scandale de stock options apparaît aux USA, des scandales semblables apparaissent en France dans les stock options et les rémunérations de dirigeants (Vinci, Havas, EADS).
Allemagne: deux bons articles sur les projets d'Angela Merkel pour promouvoir l'actionnariat des salariés en Allemagne.
Irlande:  L'affaire Eircom est proche de sa conclusion. Le Trust des actionnaires salariés de Eircom paraît émerger comme le gagnant de l'opération, avec une part qui  va probablement monter de 21,5% à 35%. Aer Lingus: la privatisation va sans doute donner une place plus grande à l'actionnariat salarié.
Jamaïque: une étude détaillée sur l'actionnariat salarié dans les entreprises cotées en Jamaïque.
Japon: une étude détaillée sur les coopératives de travail et sur l'actionnariat salarié au Japon.
Afrique du Sud: les syndicats veulent une part plus grande pour l'actionnariat salarié dans les programmes de "black empowerment".
Corée du Sud: l'actionnariat salarié fait une offre de rachat sur Daewoo
Royaume Uni: SAYE – le plan d'actionnariat salarié le plus populaire est en danger, une réforme s'impose. Pertemps est une célèbre entreprise familiale qui évolue vers un modèle d'actionnariat salarié. Pour la Poste britannique, l'actionnariat salarié crée  la controverse. 
USA: quelques exemples d'entreprises d'actionnariat salarié (Aluminum Specialties, VGM, Hot Dog on a Stick, Creation Technologies, Asemtec). D'autre part, de nouveaux scandales éclatent dans les stock options. Enfin, l'Etat du Vermont a une nouvelle législation qui favorise les entreprises d'actionnariat salarié.

  Muchas informaciones en torno al accionariado asalariado en la prensa en junio 2006, con 709 artículos (cuyos 209 sobre cooperativas de trabajadores accionistas). Nuesta seleccion cuenta con 39 artíclos en 12 países :
Austria: el accionariado asalariado como medio para aumentar el volumen del mercado financiero austriaco.
Botswana: un sitio para el accionariado asalariado en las privatizaciones de Air Botswana.
Canada: Ski press es una empresa de accionariado asalariado en reestructuración.
Francia: el país numero uno para el accionariado asalariado en junio (189 artículos). El proyecto de la nueva legislación fue discutido en el Consejo de los Ministros y podria ser votado  en la Asamblea Nacional en otoño. El barómetro anual del ahorro de empresas deja claro la progresión del accionariado asalariado. El accionariado asalariado en situaciones dificiles en varias grandes empresas : Arcelor/Mittal, Eiffage, Libération. Por otra parte, nuevos escandalos surgen en los stock options. Por ultimo, el Estado del Vermont tiene una nueva legislación favorable a las empresas de accionariado asalariado.
